New York-based alternative artist and producer, Elliot Moss, has made his return to the music scene with the release of his transcendent new single, "Altitude." It's his first new music since 2020, and it comes with a captivating official music video.

"Altitude" is a powerful and introspective track that addresses the blissful yet unnerving feeling of letting go and surrendering to the haze of depression. Elliot's wistful and sonorous vocals perfectly encapsulate this sentiment, backed by a brooding and saturated soundscape.

In a statement about the single, Elliot explains, "Altitude describes a place I never like to be. But that place can come with a unique directness to my quieter half. So I'm grateful for it, too." It's a raw and honest look into the artist's personal struggles, offering listeners a chance to connect with the emotional journey.

The official music video for "Altitude" adds another layer of depth to the song, visually representing the themes of depression and emotional turbulence that Elliot explores.

Raised in a musical family and finding early success at age 18 with his viral hit "Slip," Elliot Moss has consistently displayed his ability to create immersive sonic worlds through his music. His 2015 debut album, Highspeeds, and the critically acclaimed follow-up, A Change In Diet (2020), showcase his unique blend of electronic and alternative pop.

For his third album, Elliot Moss is set to explore new territory, with a focus on personal limitations and the quest for emotional truth. The artist has enlisted the help of fellow producer Damian Taylor (Björk, Arcade Fire, Japandroids) to shape the alt-pop sound and has returned to his roots by incorporating more guitar into the mix.

Elliot Moss has already garnered praise from the likes of Pitchfork, Billboard, SPIN, and Atwood Magazine for his previous work. With the release of "Altitude," there's no doubt that this is just the beginning of a new, exciting chapter in his career.

Stay tuned for more from Elliot Moss, and be sure to follow him.
