That is exactly the space DJ Phellix has been working in for years, and his new cut Saghia with DR ZAVIN and EyeNaz lands right in the middle of it.
Saghia is a 5:44 Organic House track released on Ario Vibes. The official word around the release is simple and accurate: hypnotic grooves, earthy percussion and spellbinding Persian vocals. That combination is Phellix’s whole thing. He does not treat Iranian instruments and poetry as decoration. He builds the track around them so the electronic side and the traditional side actually talk to each other.
Mohammad Reza Sadeghi, known as DJ Phellix, was born in Tehran on 28 April 1988. He trained as an IT engineer and in gemology, but music came first. As a kid he gravitated toward rock, picked up electric guitar and played rhythm in several bands. At the same time he stayed close to traditional Iranian music. Those two loves never really split. He started DJing in 2012, learned Ableton in 2016 and began releasing Deep House professionally from 2018 onward. The track that put him on a lot of radar was “Bar Sabzeh Neshin,” which landed on a Buddha Bar compilation. He has since appeared on Buddha Bar multiple times and signed with more than twenty labels, including Sol Selectas, Deepalma, Soave, Sirin Sounds and George V Records.
He also runs Ario Records, a label built for organic and progressive electronic music with cultural and ethnic influence. The goal he states clearly is to introduce oriental music, especially Iranian music, Persian poetry and Iranian instruments, inside the space of electronic music so listeners around the world can actually hear it. Saghia fits that mission. It is a collaboration, not a solo statement, and the vocal presence of EyeNaz plus the production partnership with DR ZAVIN give the track a lived-in, communal feel rather than a one-man studio experiment.
The wider Organic House scene in 2026 is hungry for exactly this kind of work. Listeners are tired of hyper-quantized loops and looking for music that still has skin, wood and breath in it. Labels and playlists keep circling tracks that sit around that mid-tempo, body-friendly pulse and carry some sense of place. Phellix has been doing that with Persian source material for a long time. Saghia is another chapter, not a sudden left turn.
