Some records do not need a long setup. You hear the first bars and you already know they were built for a packed floor, not a quiet playlist in the background. Kryder’s new single OH MY! is that kind of record. It is out on Steve Angello’s Size Records, and the pitch is simple: uplifting Latin energy meeting melodic tech, aimed at global dance floors that still want a hook they can shout back.
That Size connection is not a random placement. Kryder has been in this world for a long time. He started DJing on vinyl in 1991 at eleven, has been releasing as Kryder for fifteen years, and was signed to Musical Freedom by Tiësto in 2011. His first Kryder booking was warming up for Tiësto in front of thousands at Privilege Ibiza. Since then the CV has stayed unusually consistent for British dance music: ten Tomorrowland appearances, a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, and more than two hundred releases across Toolroom, Axtone, Size, Anjuna and Armada. Remix work includes David Guetta, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Kölsch and Basement Jaxx, plus a partnership with Chicane. The Tom Staar and Kryder remix of Swedish House Mafia’s Don’t You Worry Child has passed 120 million Spotify streams. In other words, this is not a new name testing a festival sound. This is a producer who already knows how those rooms move.
OH MY! sits in Melodic Techno, Melodic House and Latin House. Size Records framed it as Kryder putting his own spin on the classic Curura, which makes sense of the title and the “oh my” reaction baked into the groove. The idea is fusion, not a museum piece. Melodic tech gives the track its lift and night-time drive. The Latin side gives it percussion, swing and that slightly sun-struck bounce that still works after midnight. If you have followed Kryder at all, you already know he can live in that space. He took home an IDMA for Best Latin Dance Track with Da Puta Madre, and Latin and tribal house have been part of his catalogue for years through Kryteria, Sosumi and Cartel. OH MY! feels like that instinct meeting a more current melodic-house and melodic-techno language.
That mix is also where a lot of 2026 dance music is landing. Festival sets and peak-time playlists keep reaching for records that can be both emotional and physical: rolling bass, a melody that travels, percussion that actually moves a crowd. Latin House and Afro-leaning grooves have been feeding that demand for seasons now, while melodic techno keeps the widescreen feel. OH MY! is built for that overlap. It is the sort of cut that belongs on energetic playlists, but it is clearly written with a DJ’s hand first. You can hear why Angello would put it on Size. The label has always liked records that hit hard without losing identity, and this one wears both the British club lineage and the Latin hook in the same few minutes.
2026 is a heavy year for him on paper. Sixteen tracks across five labels in seven months, including work with Oliver Heldens and Gianluca Vacchi, this Size record, and a Black Hole run that closes on Interstellar, the last part of a Hans Zimmer-inspired trilogy after Time and Now We Are Free. Every release is going to vinyl, with a limited Kryteria cassette series running beside it. Shows are booked across Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland and Greece, with a fuller vinyl-only touring return planned for 2027. OH MY! is one piece of that run, but it is the one that most clearly says summer-into-autumn peak time.
