Marco Weber and Valentino Guerriero Bring Warehouse Grooves on "You Got Me Trippin'"

Some tracks are made for the late hours, when the room is dark, the bass is rolling and nobody is checking their phone anymore. "You Got Me Trippin'" by Marco Weber and Valentino Guerriero is exactly that kind of track. It's deep, groovy and hypnotic, with that warehouse feel that keeps you locked in.

Who Are Marco Weber and Valentino Guerriero?

Marco Weber is a Swiss beatmaker, DJ and producer who discovered electronic music at an early age. By 16 he was already DJing and producing his own tracks. He was first introduced to electronic music through drum and bass, and his wider influences include jazz, funk, classic rock and old-school hip hop. Today his sound is grounded in house, mixing underground warehouse grit with a brighter deep house edge. He has released on labels like Sublease, Bondage, Whoyostro and klaus:elle, and plays across the Zurich scene and beyond.

For this project he teamed up with Valentino Guerriero, an Italy-based producer and DJ with his own rhythm-focused approach. Together they made the four-track "You Got Me Trippin'" EP, which also includes their original "Mesmerizing" and remixes by Enzo Sorrentino and 4QM.

Minimal House With Old-School Soul

The title track sits somewhere between minimal house and old-school house, and that combination works really well. Marco describes the EP's originals as being built on rolling basslines and a steady, hypnotic pulse, with subtle synths and atmospheric pads that add depth without breaking the groove. That's exactly what you get. The bassline does a lot of the heavy lifting, while the shuffling rhythm keeps your body moving.

At around 127 BPM, it's perfectly paced for a late-night set. Nothing is overdone. Every element has its place, and the restraint is what makes it so effective. It's a track that rewards a good sound system, where those low-end rolls and small details can really come through.

Minimal and Deep Tech Are Back on the Floor

Minimal house and deep tech have made a strong comeback on dancefloors over the past few years. After a long period of big, peak-time sounds, a lot of DJs and crowds are embracing groove-first music again: tracks that build tension with rhythm and bass instead of huge drops. Swiss and Italian producers have always had a strong connection to that sound, so this collaboration feels like a natural fit.

"You Got Me Trippin'" was released on September 25th, 2026 via 4 Quarters Music.
