DaGroove (ES) Drops Peak-Time Jackin House Heat With “13 Jack”

Jackin house is having one of those years where the floor does not want a lecture. It wants bounce, live-feeling drums, and a groove that actually moves a room. DaGroove (ES) gets that. His new radio edit of “13 Jack,” out now on FederFunk Family Label, is built as a peak-time weapon: organic recorded instrumentation, a driving infectious pocket, and that raw funk-meets-modern-club blend DJs keep reaching for when the night needs a lift.

Daniel Garcés, the Ecuadorian DJ and producer behind the name (he also goes by Dagroove), is 31 and based in Barcelona. He has ten releases under DaGroove with labels including Play Records, Cruise Music, Spa In Disco and Ulysse Records. Four of those records hit the Beatport top 100, and one reached the top 10 on the House & Nu Disco charts. That is not a hobbyist run. It is someone who has been stacking proper house records and letting the charts do some of the talking.

“13 Jack” sits in Jackin House and Disco House, which is exactly the lane he has been working for years: disco, Latin color, and funky house energy rather than sterile loop-only club tools. The pitch is simple and useful. The track is packed with live elements. That matters in 2026, when a lot of jackin house either goes full sample-chop collage or stays too digital. Live-feeling parts give the groove body. You hear the idea immediately: recorded instrumentation riding a tight, dancefloor-first arrangement instead of sitting on top of it like decoration.

The Radio Edit runs a tight club-radio length, with a longer Original Mix also on the single for DJs who want the full ride. FederFunk Family is a natural home for this kind of cut. DaGroove says the record has been sitting in the Traxsource Top 100 for 15 days straight, which is the kind of specialist-store run that still means something in house. Traxsource buyers are not scrolling for vibes. They are looking for records that work between 1 a.m. and the last hour.

Jackin house itself has been circling back hard: Chicago DNA, disco bass language, and that slightly sweaty bounce that never really left the underground even when festival house went widescreen. Disco house is riding the same wave. Crowds want funk they can dance to without a 90-second spoken-word breakdown. “13 Jack” is aimed at that job. High energy. Infectious groove. Peak-time function. No need to oversell it as a concept album when it is clearly a floor record.

Garcés’s public story lines up with the sound. Official artist notes describe an Ecuadorian producer who came up on disco, Latin and funky house, studied production in Buenos Aires and at SAE in Barcelona, and has been DJing Barcelona rooms while releasing on house imprints. That Barcelona–Latin America mix is audible in the way the groove sits: not tourist “Latin house,” just a producer who grew up with rhythm and then learned how European club systems actually want a record to land.

If you are an independent artist trying to get records onto the same platforms DJs and playlist curators actually check, distribution still matters. DistroKid makes it simple to get tracks to the major stores and streaming services, and you will get 7% off your membership with this link: https://distrokid.com/vip/seven/2058328. It is a practical way to reach more listeners and keep more of what you earn while you keep building the catalog the way DaGroove has.

What do you think of this jackin house bounce? Does “13 Jack” belong in the peak-time crate, or are you more of a deep-and-dusty disco person? Drop it in the comments.
