Speed garage summer isn't over yet. Snuffy and ZOF have teamed up on "Luv", a club-ready 4x4 garage anthem built to bring back those happy speed garage vibes, and it's out now on Nawty Records.
Who Is Snuffy?
Snuffy is the solo project of DJ and producer Andre Kouchekey. His sound is rooted in traditional dubstep and UK garage, building a bridge between bass and dance music with a mix of grit and groove that works at festivals and in clubs alike. He draws influence from trailblazers like Bakey, Visages and Skream, and he jokingly calls his sound "clubstep", somewhere between 140, UKG, dubstep and club music.
He has released on labels like Memory Palace, Subsidia and Odyzey, and collaborated with producers including EAZYBAKED, PlayerDave, JordnMoody and Snowy. In 2026 he played Shambhala, Zombie Apocalypse and Of The Trees' Camp Alderwild, and EDM Identity named him one of its Artists to Watch for the year. He also credits Only Child with teaching him Ableton, which is a nice reminder that everyone starts somewhere.
Meet ZOF
ZOF is a Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, singer, songwriter and pianist. ZOF does it all: "yes, all vocals on my tracks are me!" You might know that voice from Walker & Royce's "Did You Mean It" on DIRTYBIRD, from the 2024 album No Big Deal. ZOF's catalogue also includes a Neumonic remix of "Same Thing", so there's already a link with the label behind "Luv".
An Organ Bass Throwback
The label describes "Luv" as a long-awaited collaboration and a fun, club-forward dance track in Snuffy's heavier bass catalogue. It's built on an iconic M1 Organ Bass melody and shuffly 4x4 drums, with ZOF on vocals. That organ bass sound has been a staple of house and garage since the '90s, so if you grew up on classic speed garage, this one should feel instantly familiar.
With energetic and sexy moods, it's exactly the kind of track that works at the peak of a garage set, when the crowd just wants to bounce.
Nawty Records and the US Garage Scene
Nawty Records is the UKG label that Neumonic launched in 2026. Its debut compilation, Rave Station Vol. 1, gathered 13 tracks from artists in the US and the UK. Neumonic has been pushing UK garage in the US for a while, playing events like Lightning in a Bottle and Lost Lands and helping build the community in California. Releases like "Luv" show how strong the American take on garage has become.
A Tip for Independent Artists
Not every track finds a label straight away. If you're an artist looking to release your own music, DistroKid makes it simple to get your tracks onto Spotify, Apple Music and the other major platforms, and this link gets you 7% off your membership.
