Southern California's very own Robert Jon & The Wreck have once again treated fans to a fantastic live performance with their extended live version of "Hey Hey Mama," a track that has been a fan favourite for years. The band has announced that this powerful rendition will be included on their first-ever live DVD, Live At The Ancienne Belgique, set for release on April 21st via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records.

Originally from their 2016 album Good Life Pie, "Hey Hey Mama" has evolved over time, especially after the addition of members Henry James Schneekluth and Warren Murrel in 2017. This live version captivates listeners with its fuzzy guitar intro, strong vocal harmonies in the chorus, and an extended, psychedelic-tinged outro jam that showcases the band's improvisational skills.

The live DVD was recorded at a sold-out show at the iconic Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium on June 29th, 2022. This performance came as part of the band's longest-ever tour, with an astonishing 67 shows in 75 days across nine countries. After being postponed for nearly two years due to the pandemic, the band finally hit the stage at the Ancienne Belgique, over 50 shows into the tour, as a well-oiled machine ready to blow the roof off the venue.

Their latest EP, One Of A Kind, has been met with rave reviews worldwide, pushing the band to new heights. The EP features production from Grammy-Award winners Don Was and Dave Cobb, and showcases the band's dynamic sound and wide range, with tracks like the instant rock & roll classic "Come At Me," the captivating Americana-infused "Who Can You Love," and the outstanding riff-driven roots rock track "Pain No More."

Thanks to their partnership with Journeyman Records, Robert Jon & The Wreck are set to release a steady stream of high-quality singles, allowing fans to access new music as intended. Their prolific songwriting, combined with the opportunity to work with the world's top producers, ensures that the band's music will continue to captivate listeners for years to come.

With their roots firmly in Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck have successfully made the Southern rock sound their own. Since forming in 2011, the band – featuring Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), and Warren Murrel (bass) – has been electrifying audiences across the globe with their soaring guitar leads, rich vocal harmonies, and unforgettable tunes. The recent addition of keyboardist Jake Abernathie has only added to the band's already impressive sound.

Fans of Robert Jon & The Wreck have much to look forward to, as the band will soon hit the road once again, opening up for Blackberry Smoke next month. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://robertjonandthewreck.com/.
